Learn with Lynda  For help with general IT skills, particularly MS Office, access is provided to online tutorials at Lynda.com  login with your University username and password   

IT Training  highlights the range of online training provided by isolutions for the software they support. 

Deskside Training - this service provides support for individuals and/or small groups. 

Library sessions for Undergraduates and taught Postgraduates (MSC) - teaching materials

The Library Presentation introduces all new UGs to the UofS Library Service and many of its resources. Note - you will need Chrome v8 to run this presentation through Adobe Flash.

Look through this presentation and follow the links given; these will direct to many resources to help you gain searching skills and the knowledge to find good quality, current, academic information from journal articles, conferences proceedings, reports as well as technical information from patents or standards plus much more.
