I am the Head of Research Data and Intellectual Property in the University Library. I am also the Library's lead for the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences. I am a Project co-lead (co-investigator) on the recently awarded Careers and Skills for Data-driven Research (CaSDaR) network, part of the UKRI Digital Research Technical Professional Skills NetworkPlus call.
As part of the Library's Engagement team I am available to help you with research data management, copyright and intellectual property, theses and other research related matters.
I've worked in academic libraries since graduating with my MA in Librarianship from the University of Sheffield in 1994. In that time both libraries and how users access information have changed considerably.
My academic background is primarily in the humanities. My first degree was a BA Hons in Mediaeval Studies at the University of Manchester, and completed a MA in Eighteenth Century Studies at Southampton while on my last maternity leave.
My publication list is available on ePrints.
