Artists' books: LGBT+ History Month

LGBT+ artists in our Artists' Book Collection

As part of our celebrations for LGBT+ history month we have put together a selection of LGBT+ artists whose work is represented in our Artists' Book Collection. These are showcased in the slideshow here and links to our catalogue are provided for further details. The works selected range from items published when the collection was first established in the early 1970s, such as those by artists Gilbert & George, through Derek Jarman's box, 'Reliquary' from 1996, and on to the collaged books of contemporary artist, Jeremy Dixon. The collection is open to all to view so please contact us for further information via libenqs@soton.ac.uk
