Libby: Installing Libby

1. Getting started with Libby

• Download the app for your device:
  • iOS. 
  • Android

2. Configuring the app

• Open the Libby app.
• Select Add a library, enter your post code and tap Search.
• Click University of Southampton. 
• Sign in with your library credentials 

3. Browsing 

• Browse the library's collection and borrow a title.
• Borrowed titles appear on your Shelf () and download to the app automatically.

4. Read

• On your Shelf, tap loans at the top of the screen. From there, you can:
  • Tap Open In Libby to start reading or listening in the app.
  • Tap Manage Loan to see options like Renew and Return.
