The Knitting Reference Library located in the Winchester School of Art Library contains a treasure trove of magazines, journals, knitting patterns and even knitted objects. Knitting Reference Library Transformed takes but a few of these objects and transforms them through techniques such as 3D scanning, 3D printing, 3D Modelling and Augmented Reality.
Explore the collection in new ways through handling 3D printed replicas. Watch as the collection comes to life in front of you through Augmented Reality. Or even learn more about the process behind how you can digitally recreate knitted artwork from an 80 year old pattern in an old magazine.
