Introduction to Assessing Research Using Metrics
The session will introduce ways of assessing research using bibliometrics. We will provide an introduction to bibliometrics, the University's Responsible Metrics Policy, provide guidance on how to use the digital tools available to you and have time for questions. Responsible Research Metrics self-study module (20 mins)
This module provides an overview of research metrics and gives guidance on how to use them responsibly in accordance with the university policy. It's designed for anyone how is interested in how research is measured and assessed and those who are invovled in recruitment, reward and recognition processes or grant application processes where research may be used as an assessment tool.
