Hartley Library

The Hartley Library is the main University Library and also home to the University Archives & Special Collections.

As well as five floor levels of printed books and journals our collections offer extensive coverage of online journals and over 86,0000 e-books.

We offer several hundred computer workstations in the building, plus the Library is covered by the wireless network.

Hartley Library opening times vary in term time and vacation. Current opening times can be found from the Opening Hours link at the top of this page.

Call numbers, subjects and locations

Whether you use Webcat or DelphiS you will retrieve call numbers and locations to enable you to locate materials on the shelves of the Hartley Library. These two listings will help you understand which level you need to go to. Once you know your level you can consult floor plans for an exact location.
