EndNote is reference/bibliographic management software that allow you to collect and organise references from your literature search - and then insert them into your write-up formatted in whichever style you choose.
Endnote is supported in the University - but there are also a number of free alternatives that you can explore for yourself, including Mendeley, Zotero and (for the Mac only) Papers.
A comparison of three electronic reference management systems is available:
We provide guides for EndNote, downloadable from these pages. We also provide an online training course.
There are a number of alternative reference management tools available. You'll find information about some of these in this guide - but the Library does not provide any formal support for any of these at the moment.
