This workshop examines what makes a presentation effective, and what things to consider when preparing for delivery. You will learn planning techniques which will help you to prepare clear and concise presentations. The workshop will provide tips for getting your message across and discuss techniques for managing your nerves and anxieties when presenting. (90 min).

The course is suitable for students with dyslexia/SpLD. This workshop will explore the difficulties faced by students/individuals with dyslexia/SpLD and introduce strategies for acquiring higher level reading skills. The workshop will look at different reading techniques – scanning, skimming, close reading and active reading.
