To access library resources you will need to connect to the University’s VPN service called Global Protect. Further information on how to connect to the University’s VPN using Global Protect can be found here.

The Games Board: Articles and links to key games collections. Includes the GARD database: images, copyright, design and patent registrations, books relating to games, information on significant game collections, and more than 3000 actual examples of games.

The IFDB: An IF game catalogue and recommendation engine and a Wiki-style community project.

Internet Archive Software Library: Thousands of playable software titles from multiple computer platforms, allowing instant access to decades of computer history in your browser through the JSMESS emulator.

Itch.io: An online marketplace that allows users to find and share indie games. 

Now Play This: A Festival of Experimental Game Design, which takes place annually at Somerset House in London. 

Raise the Game: Formed to promote and foster diversity and inclusion in the games industry

TIGA: The network for games developers and digital publishers and the trade association representing the video games industry.

Ukie: The trade association for the UK's games and interactive entertainment industry.

Unity Learn: Tutorials, projects and content on Unity. Additional free content is available during the pandemic.
