This agreement expires 31/12/2025, articles must be accepted by this date to be included. There is currently a national negotiation ongoing for a new agreement.

Open to all University of Southampton corresponding authors in CUP titles covered by the agreement. Please use your soton.ac.uk email address and affiliation throughout the submission process and your article will be published open access at no cost to the authors. 

This agreement is available to current UK based University staff and students, where the University of Southampton has underpinned the research; colleagues with honorary contracts and visitors are not eligible.

  • Included Article Types: Research articles, Rapid communications, Review articles, Brief Reports, Case Reports
  • On acceptance, choose the Gold Open Access option in your author publishing agreement form and select the CC BY licence.
  • Applies to articles accepted for publication between 01/01/2021 and 31/12/2025
