Open to all University of Southampton corresponding (submitting) authors in all IOP and Electrochemical Society journals (lists, A, B, C and D). Please use your soton.ac.uk email address and affiliation throughout the submission process and your article will be published open access at no cost to the authors. Please select the CC BY licence r.

  • Eligible article types: All primary research articles, including research papers, special issue articles, letters and review articles are eligible for inclusion 
  • IOP will automatically identify qualifying articles and inform authors of their inclusion.
  • Applies to articles accepted for publication by 31/12/2025.
